FundRaksha HR gives Mysuru employers GPS check-in on employees' own phones (only inside the office radius, one phone per employee), leave, shift rosters and a payroll that computes PF, ESI, PT and TDS, with payslip PDFs and PF ECR, ESI, bank and Tally files. Karnataka profession tax: nil below ₹25,000 a month; ₹200 a month and ₹300 in February from ₹25,000. Plans cost ₹49, ₹79 or ₹99 per employee per month plus GST, with a 30-day free trial.
Mysuru's workforce and its HR problems
IT services, silk and sandalwood products, food processing, engineering and auto components, and tourism are Mysuru's main employers. Factories run fixed shifts; tourism and hospitality need rotating week-offs because the weekend is the busiest time.
Many units are small, with 20 to 100 people, where the owner or an accountant runs HR alongside everything else. That makes a phone-based admin app more useful than a desktop system nobody opens.
- A Mysuru factory and a Bengaluru office with different hours and holidays
- Hotel and tourism staff on rotating week-offs
- HR handled by an accountant who also files GST
- Karnataka's annual labour welfare fund deadline forgotten in January
Karnataka payroll rules for a Mysuru employer
Karnataka replaced its PT schedule through an amendment Act notified on 15 April 2025. Salary of ₹25,000 and above a month pays ₹200 a month, and ₹300 for February; below ₹25,000 no PT is deducted.
| Monthly salary | Profession tax |
|---|---|
| Below ₹25,000 | Nil |
| ₹25,000 and above | ₹200 a month, ₹300 in February |
Labour welfare fund. Karnataka collects labour welfare fund once a year through the Karnataka Labour Welfare Board. For calendar year 2025 the Board set 15 January 2026 as the last date for payment, so the next contribution falls due in January again. Track it separately: LWF is not among FundRaksha HR's listed files.
Shops and establishments. Shops and commercial establishments are governed by the Karnataka Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1961. Registration is made online with the Labour Department through its e-Karmika portal. The four Labour Codes have been in force since 21 November 2025; state Shops and Establishments Acts continue alongside them.
ESI covers employees earning up to ₹21,000 a month (employee 0.75%, employer 3.25%); PF is 12% from each side. Check cases with the PF and ESI calculators.
How FundRaksha HR handles it in Mysuru
- GPS check-in at each office with its own radius, under one company
- Holidays, week-offs and attendance rules set per person or per roster
- A mobile admin app plus web console, so approvals happen from the phone
- PF, ESI, PT and TDS files and a Tally XML for the accountant
Admins work from the mobile app or the web console, and PAN, Aadhaar and bank numbers are encrypted and masked.
Worked example: a Hootagalli component unit
An auto component maker employs 45 people in Hootagalli on two shifts and 5 sales staff in Bengaluru. Most shop-floor workers earn under ₹25,000, so no Karnataka PT; the Bengaluru sales staff earn above it and pay ₹200 a month and ₹300 in February.
The unit sets up two locations, each with its own radius and week-offs, and runs one payroll on Pro at ₹79 per employee (₹3,950 a month plus GST). The Karnataka labour welfare fund, due once a year in January, stays on the owner's compliance calendar.

- Set attendance rules, holidays, week-offs and shifts.
- Enter salary structures and confirm the Karnataka PT treatment on a test month.
- Run payroll, check payslips, then download the PF ECR, ESI, bank and Tally files.
