Zoho Payroll is free for up to 10 employees and lists EPF, ESI, state PT and LWF compliance even on the free plan, with paid plans priced per organisation. Its leave and attendance management is listed only in Premium (₹5,000 a month monthly billing, 50 employees included). FundRaksha HR includes GPS attendance on every plan and statutory payroll on Pro at ₹79 per employee per month + GST. Zoho is the better choice for very small payroll-only teams; FundRaksha HR suits teams that need attendance linked to pay.

If you do not need attendance, or you track it elsewhere, Zoho Standard or Professional may cost less, and the free plan costs nothing up to 10 employees.

- FundRaksha HR: GPS check-in inside the office radius with one phone per employee on every plan; field mode; advances, reimbursements with bill photos and incentives on Pro; Tally export; biometric devices on Enterprise; 30-day trial.
FundRaksha HR's website does not list LWF. If your state levies labour welfare fund and you want it calculated inside the software, check before switching.
Switching checklist
- Export employees and salary structures from Zoho Payroll to Excel.
- Import into FundRaksha HR (Excel import on Pro).
- Set offices, radius, shifts, holidays and leave.
- Run one month in parallel; compare net pay and PF and ESI for every employee.
- Point your accountant to the Tally export.
